I will say the two other individuals in the store were nice and helpful but you get the impression the other guy has the hammer on them.
Got news for ya pal there's nothing like all the competition around your store fact is most of us can take about 45 minutes refresher course and do everything you can without that attitude, grief and save the money just for the sport of it!!!!
I remembered this guy from years ago talk about leaving an impression?
If you agree your experience with mine, give a thumbs up so we cn let others know!
Who needs to buy anything in your store we can get anything you sell delivered to our doorstep in two days w/out the attitude and spending 20 minutes to find parking??
Since he wasn't doing anything and there weren't any customers I asked if they could do a few minor items he said "we can schedule it in a few days...meanwhile no customers in the store?
Yep, the Asian guy (Mgr). I was recently there and noticed a condescending attitude right off, no hello, no welcome, no thanks,. More like 'whadya want' ?
Folks go to Castro Valley, Pleasanton and anywhere else. Obviously judging by these reviews 'Cyclepaths' don't have an interest in earning your business. (except the two other guys there)
Staff scoffed at me when I told them my price range. Bikes are all well over $400 there. They also charge $100+ if you want your bike assembled. Don't waste your time/money with these buffoons. I felt pressured to buy. Everything is overpriced. I went to the local toys r us and got a $200 bike instead. They only charge $10 for assembly, and their staff isn't comprised of snobby assholes.
Nicely, I asked can you do it now? In a chastising voice he replies "nope all kinds of bikes we have to get done by tomorrow" yet no one working on bikes? Then the all-star said in a condescending voice as to educate "you know your not the only customer" (this coming from a kid was interesting, ha ha) while standing around gnawing on pizza on the sales floor, shooting the sht with a fellow worker who seemed to be ignoring him more interested in trying to get some work done.
True story last year 2016 me and my wife we buy three bicycles, and last week I come back because I was looking for at a stem for my mountain bike and the guy show me a user one and I think maybe they can sell it cheaper, and when I talk with the owner he says: this is a good like New so $45, and I was surprise so I say: is use can you drop the price at least $10, we buy you three bicycles last year and he say sorry but that's the price. so I was like this is the place that I really like it ????? he was so rude to me to be honestly, so I never come back or is spend my money on that place is sucks
Just contacted them by phone and the person who answered was very polite. Have being in their store a couple of times and everything organized, clean and excellent customer service.
These guys have a huge inventory of bikes, parts and accessories for every kind of ride. Their repair staff is knowledgeable and even rushed a repair when I told them I needed my bike for the weekend. And their prices are very reasonable. All of this is rare in a bike shop these days.
It's like back in the days when computers first came out and the I.T. guys were cocky cause they knew you couldn't go to anyone-else for repairs to get your work done w/out their help? Because of their crap attitude we all learned how to fix our own computers and quite frankly don't need them.
