Extreme budget hotel. Free breakfast, but must be eaten in the lobby. Domestic violence incident in room directly above. Screaming and crashing noises around 3:00 am. Must be a common occurance because when police were called, they stated they were not going to come, they were just going to call the front desk. In the morning, asked housekeeping for a roll of bathroom tissue. She was irritated, stating she had just put a new roll in that room the day before. Whatever.

We didn't stay longer than 20 minutes dirty sheets, moldy bathroom ceiling, the room stunk as soon as we opened the door the smell hit us. We left without even trying to get a refund. That's how bad it was sleeping in your car would be better. Luckily we found a room at the Best Western $40 more and wow what a difference. I would give it a negative 10 star but you can't post your review with zero stars.

Not kept up very well and the carpet was really dirty. My husband's socks were filthy after walking around. Interesting people hanging around. Won't stay there again.

I travel 98% of time for the type of job that I do my stay at this hotel Budget Inn/Hayward has been the worse ever. When I checked in the first night I was told that I need a chip on my CC. Then I went on-line and booked my stay again and because I didn't book with the hotel they told me I had to checkout and check back in at 3pm or pay $30 fee. The morning of checkout I was waiting for my ride in the lobby, the front desk clerk advised me that I couldn't eat in the lobby so we went outside to eat our breakfast. Then as I was waiting on my ride the in the lobby the front desk clerk was rude to people on the phone and in person then ask me how much longer before my ride come because we said 45mins. So, I ask is this how you treat your guest. What if I was waiting to catch a plane ? She didn't care and told us to go wait outside. I did share with her that she has no customer service skills. She doesn't know how to communicate with the public in a professional manner. I've had to wait for rides, store my luggage and etc. and the hotel staff has always been accommodating. But this hotel and staff just ugly. They speak to you very loudly with aggressiveness just ugly.Budget corpoorate office should have a person go and check them out unknown to them, great customer service and friendly service makes a very successful business. Hopefully someone will check in to this an make the necessary improvements. I/we will not be staying at this location and will advice others as well.

The room was pretty shabby, the door had obviously been kicked in at one time and repaired badly. They offer free WiFi but only allow 1 device per room to use it, so my fiance and I couldn't each connect on our phones. We had to talk them into giving us another code for my phone, for which my fiance' had to run all the way to the office for instead of them just giving it over the phone. Also, there was no remote for the television, which my fiance' again had to run to the office for.
