Great park to have a picnic, hike, swim, bbq and lots more. Love to hike here from 5 canyons open space.

Excellent place to have family reunion, swimming, fishing, and lots of tables to enjoy a picnic.

Some of the trails get a little muddy, but the atmosphere feels nice and isolated from the surrounding city.

Waited 2hours in line to get in on a sunday morning good luck ✌

Nice little place for a picnic and short hike around the lake. The trails connect to the the larger Chabot to Garin trail system if you want to do a longer more challenging hike. I recommend getting the East Bay Regional Park annual pass so you can park and use the swimming area for free. Annual pass will get you into several other parks, too. Well worth it.
