Worst Police I have ever encountered. This department needs training. They are rude, cocky, mf. They abuse their authority. Im sure this department has tons of complaints.
Had a fix-it ticket that needed to be signed off. Went down to Hayward police station and within 5 minutes a nice friendly officer came out and looked at my front windshield and signed off on my ticket. This is public service at it's best unlike Antioch police where I received the ticket. Went to their police station and a cadet told me that I needed to go out into the street and flag down an officer and have that officer sign off on your ticket which I think is dangerous and unsafe. Thank you Hayward for doing Antioch's job!
My daughter was attacked randomly for her backpack. She fought back and was heard by a wonderful couple who came to her rescue. Because of their help the police were able to find the attacker. It took about 2 ½ hours but the police were diligent and so dedicated and it paid off. I was so completely impressed by the police, the firemen, and the couple who stayed to help her. I am forever grateful for the work that the police do to protect us. I have always been appreciative of the police, but even more now. Thank you all for the work that you do, putting yourself in danger, and not getting much thanks for it. You all were so impressive on Monday evening; it really was something to behold!
