Ordered a smart box last minute and was able to get it in the evening the next day. Really convenient service!
Their delivery service is kind of unreliable, but for the price I can't complain
Cheapest storage unit from what I could find. Easy to schedule over the phone, friendly delivery drivers and clean boxes. Only thing is they showed up really late in the day. Wasn't a problem for me, but my advice is schedule them to come a day earlier than you need the boxes.
I waited over 3 weeks to have a SmartBox to be delivered and even took the day off from work to wait for the delivery. They never showed, never called. When I called the next day, which was a Saturday,they told me to call back on Monday to confirm the status of the delivery, which was now showing in their system for the following Wednesday. They even suggested I call back Tuesday, just to confirm the delivery. When I called back on Tuesday, they had a "pickup" scheduled and not a delivery. When I asked what the issue was with the delivery, the representative confirmed that the delivery center's forklift was not working and that was the reason they couldn't deliver the boxes. That doesn't excuse the lack of consideration of a phone call.
If this is how things start with SmartBox, I have no confidence in their ability to drop off and pick up these boxes as promised as part of their service. In the end, I requested to just have them refund my money. Now we'll wait and see if they call tomorrow with a confirmation number of that cancellation as promised
